Agreed, the bully will not stop. The bully will go as far as you let them. Too often, we can be stuck, trapped in codependent relationships that end up being not the best for our potential in life. We can be around the wrong crowd. Yes, they justify what they do and what they do not do. My dad abused my mom. They divorced in 2008 after 28 years of marriage. My mom went on to marry a better man. But while she was married to my dad, she felt like she had to meet all of his demands. But that's not the best idea. Thanks for this. Upvoted.
Thank you for the insight and for opening up. I can't imagine what it's like to be the observer of abuse to a loved one. I'm glad your mom found someone who treats her well.
Always. That's why I'm Oatmeal. Which means, I try to be plain like Oatmeal. I try to open up. And life is better that way.
I like that, oatmeal. And, oatmeal is pretty healthy. You can add things to it, but on its own, it can be hearty and very nutritious :D Remove all the garnishes a person might put on and being left with oatmeal is pretty good. Much better than other things you might be left with.
Exactly, and that's the beauty of life. It's the best thing about waking up, not with Folders Coffee in your cup, but with Oatmeal.
