History of the nation of mesopotamia

Mesopotamia comes from two words, namely mesos meaning central and potamus meaning river. The lush Eufrat and Tigris river valleys are the birthplace of the trading city. the Euphrates and Tigris rivers are rivers originating from the Armenian Mountains (Turkey), and both are in Mesopotamia.

The valleys of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers are formed by the surrounding area, the widening desert, the Elbrus Desert and the Hamad Desert. the Mesopotamian region is naturally divided into two parts, Mesopotamia above and Lower Mesopotamia or Babylon. The nations that once developed their civilization in Mesopotamia were Sumerian, Akadia, Babolonia, Assyria, and New Babylon.

In the rainy season comes the area around Mesopotamia floods occur, and then the water inundated areas along the river, if it began to recede, then leave the mud is very fertile. in those areas they began to grow crops.
