An international event, today begins in Sabang, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The event is named Sail Sabang 2017. Sail Sabang is a continuation of Sail Indonesia which has been held in a number of other popular tourist destination in Indonesia. According to records, Sail Sabang 2017, Sail Indonesia is the 9th.

Sail Indonesia first started in Manado in 2009 with the name Sail Bunaken and the last time before Sabang took place Sail Karimata 2016.
