Fresh and Comfortable Houses from Ancient Relics

"Rumoh Aceh" is a traditional house built by the people of Aceh since the first, houses withstand earthquakes, flood disaster, and has always been clean air circulation. The roof made of dried palm leaf, making the atmosphere cool and fresh when we were inside the house.

The house facing to the west, as a form of respect to religion, because the direction of Qibla in Aceh is located to the west. And when the owner of the house praying, it will be facing west. In addition to follow the direction of the sunrise and sunset.

A lot of memories in this house, now rebuilt into a museum and library.
