Actifit Updates: Android Version 0.4.1beta. Website Updates. 50K Delegation Increase. Top Daily Actifitters

This update represents a compilation of the recent news, updates and projections about our Actifit project, including top actifitters for the preceding voting cycle, as well as updates on our account and delegations !

Android V0.4.1Beta

Today we sent out a minor patch release to our latest Android version - labelled v0.4.1beta.
The release comes as a minor patch update, as it serves to provide a solution for several users who were affected by a dual SIM card issue causing them difficulty to use Actifit on their devices.
Add to that, and based on our latest security update, several users were unable to recognize why Actifit would not operate on their devices.

New Security Notifications

We enabled a new set of notifications which would recognize and notify the user of the relevant issue post closing Actifit, so as users who have critical issues with their devices from a security perspective would get properly notified - as follows:

• Phones with no active SIM card: User will receive a notification informing that Actifit could not detect an active SIM card. This measure was put in place to ensure the device is authentic.
• Emulators: if you are attempting to run Actifit on an emulator, you will also receive a relevant notification as we only intend Actifit to be used on authentic phones and authentic recorded activity.
• Rooted Phones: Rooted phones also fall into the high risk territory, and if your phone is rooted, you will also receive a relevant notification.

New Required Permission

Another change you will notice, and in order to properly implement and enhance our security checks, is that now we require an additional permission to read your phone state. The relevant permission in Android jargon is "android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE"
Upon opening the new version, you will be prompted with a confirmation dialog to request your permission to make and manage phone calls. Just to be clear we intend in no way to make or manage phone calls, this is merely a requirement by Android's permission to be able to properly authenticate devices for multi SIM cards, so ** please do not be concerned over this requirement, we might be able to drop it in the future as we find alternative ways to overcome this limitation and better secure Acifit against abuse**.

New required permission - this is ONLY a security measure to allow proper SIM card detection. No calls whatsoever are intended to be made on your phone.

Website Updates

We implemented several new enhancements to our official website actifit.io, particularly in light with the recent features announced including Full AFIT Pay, as follows:

New Full AFIT Pay Display

Every activity report box now features, in case the Full AFIT Pay option is selected, the display of an additional row highlighting that this post follows this approach, and is eligible for AFIT token swap on payout.
For posts that are still within the 7 days, the box will display as below. Notice the additional row at the bottom, labelled as pending pay.

For posts that have already been paid out, the new feature will also additionally display the amount of AFIT tokens paid in place of the STEEM/SBD rewards of the post.

The AFIT amount displayed will be an increment to the original AFIT amount displayed above it. So for the example above, @actifit-peter earned 66+43.162 AFIT tokens so a total of 109.162 AFIT tokens.

Upvote Status

Another requested feature we made available on Actifit.io is the ability to identify if you, as a logged user, had already voted for this post or not, and if so, to receive a confirmation box upon your attempt to upvote again.

Unvoted posts will have the black upvote icon, while your upvoted posts will now have the red upvote icon. Upvoting will update, on the fly, the icon color.

Adding author name to post title

Another minor addition yet helpful to website visitors was adding the author name to the title of the post. It was a bit of a confusing experience for readers who were unable to quickly identify which post they had open, and now with the author name displayed there, the process is far easier.

As our app and platform are growing, we created our first version of our T&C, and made that available on Actifit.io. This is accessible via this link and also linked at the bottom of the landing page.

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 216,000 = 46.29 AFITs

We are always appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.

10SP, 20SP, 30SP, 50SP, 100SP, 250SP, 500SP, 1,000SP, 5,000SP, 10,000SP, 20,000SP, Custom Amount

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.
