Dear browery well since you are using Android version of the dapp then you can go to settings and click on the aggressive button do that you will be forcing the dapp to keep on tracking , unless you have an app that kills all the running apps or a built in app with such option if you like reply back to me if the problem persists so we can solve it and sorry for taking time to reply
