That's true, there are a lot of pictures out there that are tagged totally wrong and just get upvotes for a few cents.
It is amazing how much there is alone to goldenhour photography.
You should see the portrait photos we are finding this week.
The quality is amazing and they are getting virtually no votes. That's why we created this account. To try to uplift those posts. It's working slowly but surely.

That's true I'm also looking through steemit and search good pictures with very low payout. The problem that I have in the most cases is that there is no proof of ownership. I think people that are posting pictures should at least add some exifs and the gear they used. This would not be a 100% proof but it's easier to estimate.
Your service is an enrichment for all those who create high-quality images but do not get attention.
It's fairly easy to check ownership of images.
The method we use will be in the next blog update in answer to your concerns about ownership.

That's right, people simply share and copy and are not even aware of the sequences.
At the moment I'm also looking for errors in the images and pay attention to the resolution and the filename. This is anything but optimal and time-consuming but works quite well.
The Exifs as well as a short text I find nevertheless very desirable. Simply putting an image into the blockchain is a bit too impersonal.
Btw. Are you on discord with "steemimages", too?
