My Actifit Report Card: April 7 2019
After having a very unseasonably cold March and first week of April, it finally warmed up for a couple of days and, lo and behold, the cherry blossoms burst open.
Today was supposed to be cold and rainy, but fortunately, the weather man/woman/application (whatever the correct terminology is these days) was very wrong. As a result, my family and I made the hour and a half drive to this famous park and spent the afternoon walking under cherry trees and stuffing ourselves with all many of Japanese festival foods. It was a nice day!

On top of plenty of good exercise, it looks like it was a perfectly gorgeous day, and all the while, there is blooming going on. We are also enjoying the beauty of the cherry blossom season here. Next week is our Sakura Festival with the traditional drink/food. They are serious about their blooms here!

I liked your post with the story about the pagoda gift from Yokohama. I was wondering if I had ever walked past it at some point without noticing before I came to Japan.
