@boxcarblue, Spiritual emotions and connection never see the time, sometimes we reach to a point where we feel spiritual energies which inspire us to connect with higher energies and in my opinion sometimes this process can be emotional one too. Stay blessed.
I think the emotional and the spiritual are often connected. Perhaps you could say that the spiritual works through our emotional States rather than our logic.
