Safe enough for me to feel safe to take my phone out and use it to take photos, the good boyes where busy protecting the park from the evil birds, didn't want to bother them.

Were they chasing them? :O I used to chase birds too when I was a little kid. It was one of my favourite activities.
They crawled on the floor trying to catch them but ended up scaring them anyways.
