June 9 19: AutomaticWin, TripleTen, Hiking, and New Records!
Well, today was a record breaker for sure! #AutomaticWin #TripleTen!!
Even though (despite the repellent we got yesterday) the skeeters were a major minus, it was great to be back out hiking in the woods!!! This was the longest we’ve walked with the dog (at least in a VERY long time).
We saw lots of amazing wildlife once again...bazillions of little chipmunks scurrying about and chipping up in the trees. I tried to get a photo, but they’re too darn quick!
I think this is some kind of egg...maybe a caterpillar?

Then these flowers with lotsa’ beetle bugs. Double twofer!!

Then it started to rain a bit.
We actually got all the way to where the trail begins!
A chipmunk condominium:
And then we met The Mighty Flurgh Guardian of the Path
We said: “Please, your imminent toadness, may we pass?”
Flurgh replied: “...”
which is, quite frankly, in most polite circles, not considered to be much of a reply.
“Then we shall take your photograph and immortalize your face on the blockchain.”
“...” Flurgh said silently, and we walked right round.
