Maybe you keep the phone in the wrong place? I have a phone in the side pocket of my pants, and the app counts every leg movement.
Oh, this may well be the reason. I do not have pockets on my pants, so I keep the phone in a bag attached to the frame.
It turns out the app counts bumps on the road, not my steps. Need to try another place. Thanks for the tip!
