My Actifit Report Card: 7 February 2019
Oh, the beauty of living in a small country town! I woke up at 8:40 AM, quickly freshened up, brushed my teeth, got dressed, drank my coffee, and clocked in at work at 8:56 AM. I was not late for my 9 AM shift! I should never do that again.
But yes, I am glad I wasn't late. As soon as I got there, I asked one of the Educators if they had already done the mat time, and they still had not done it yet, so I gave a 5-minute warning then we would have mat time. We do this every day to establish a routine for the children.
After mat time, we had inside and outside free play. Then at 10 AM we had morning snack, then right after, we went to the school garden and met with the Garden teacher.
The children got to greet the new chickens that had arrived this morning, visit the nursery or the greenhouse, and explored the different sections of the school garden. They got to smell, touch, and taste the herbs and vegetables that were picked from the garden.
I finished work at 1:30 PM, then went straight to the Doctor's surgery for my 2 PM appointment. I did another blood test again today. The medical technologist was very impressed with me because I did better with how I coped having blood taken out of my vein. I concentrated on wiggling my toes and counting down from 100.
Later on, I did some food shopping for our Playgroup tomorrow then went and visited my aunt and had her interpret my blood test result from last week. I came home and my husband gave me Burberry perfume as his birthday gift.
