My Actifit Report Card: mars 18 2019 - When depression is back, beat up your old record

This morning when I woke up, I felt depressed! I know depression. I already had a depression before and I feel it when it's coming. You recognize it easily.

When you wake up, you don't want to do anything. You feel like the world is stronger than you. You feel like you don't have a strength to live the day. You kind of feel empty. No energy. No motivation. Nothing.

So I made a decision. Since I began to run last month, and my best is 6km for now, I have decided that I would beat this record. I felt like I should go running and fight the world anyway. Depression does that, it creates symptoms to convince you to stay away from the world.

  • Like it makes you feel like you have a headache
  • Stomache pain
  • You feel dizzy

I said fuck that, I drove my car to the "Lac du Cres" and I ran. It was hard as hell but I did it. I ran 7km this morning! I beat my previous record and I beat this fucking depression.

Sport makes you feel good. Doing your best makes you feel good. After running, I felt good. Like it was the best medecine for depression. It wasn't enough. I have decided to beat my previous activity count (12k). I did it to. I reached 21k.

Now I'm home. Depression is coming back slowly. But I'm proud. I won't let myself go down. Not again! I will beat the crap out of this shit. And sport is a good help. Sincerely.

Stay all motivated! Even if you feel low, do things as you planned them. You wanted to run. Run.
