A patient with left testicular torsion

Today morning one Indian patient come to my chamber, along with his friends. His complaints were 1. Severe pain in his scrotum 2. Sudden enlargement of left testicle

I examined the him and the features consistent with acute lest testicular torsion. The enlargement was due to the twisted horizontal position of the left testis.

I tried to untwist it manually but he didn't allow to do that. So I had to refer him to the more experienced surgeon to do it , preferably with the help of Ultrasound.

Testicular torsion is an medical emergency. Prompt intervention is necessary.
