Surinam is probably one of the best kept secret of the world.
It is so close to venezuela and yet we know so little about it. You show any venezuela a picture of a street of Paramaribo and they won't know where that is.
How this has happened is beyond me

    Hi @hlezama,
    Thanks for this awesome comment. It is indeed true. South American countries know way too little about each other. I studied in Europe for 6 years, I spend a month in China and visit the US on a yearly basis. Yet I have never set foot in any of the Spanish speaking countries in South America. It is such a shame 😔.
