Every Mermaid themed Birthday party should have Crabby Croissants!
And a cool carrot cake-
But my favorite part was making the Birthday girl laugh by placing the googly eyes on other objects!
After the party we did some cleaning and shopping for @lordvdr's Mom and then found a few geocaches before heading home. The MIL is recovering very well and now just over 5 weeks post hip replacement. She is still easily worn out but getting better every day!

That looks like you guys had one lush mermaid buffet... an that cake... omg that cake looks stunning!
It was amazing! Very well decorated and a spice/carrot cake under all that frosting. Plus little vanilla wafer clams with chocolate pearls.
The googlyeyes were a lot of fun for the kids, they were putting the sticks with them into all the fruits and decorations. Unfortunately they were not sticky backed so we couldn't place any for future parties to discover.
but I see there were a lot more sticker-eyes, too ;)
I'm sure the little mermaid and her guests had a ton of fun
putting googly eyes on those wooden prickers is simply brilliant

It is soooo cool that you had a mermaid themed birthday party! The kids must have gone nuts with the googlyeyes and crabs and cups :D
They seemed to love them. We all had fun playing with the googlyeyes after lunch. :)
