My Actifit Report Card: March 9 2019
Almost all the way back to the living! Yay!
Met my friend Maddie for our beach walk and talk. It has been a long time since we hang out together! Almost a month!
She was supposed to film me doing my seven pushups for the #Seven77 initiative on Twitter by @nathanmars7. Well, she held my phone but didn’t press record until I was done 😂
So, we had to do it over again. Too funny.
We walked to the pier and then had a coffee and a bagel. It was a bit risky for me since I hadn’t been eating much since my stomach wasn’t happy. But I was hungry.
We ended up walking twice along the beach and found and took pictures of cool driftwood, dead birds, sea veggies, surfers, paddlers and more.
This would be some surfers.
And this is an example of the driftwood. I will spare you the dead birds (in this post at least )
The area is a Marine Life refuge and is much studied. The pier is used by students and researchers.
The weather was perfect!! At home, it was much colder.
But the sun came out and I tackled some weeds that had grown to impressive heights.
Ended my day with a dinner of sweet potatoes, potatoes, greens with garlic and a chicken sausage. It not only tasted good but my stomach is still happy. I think I got it!!! Finally am over that stomach flu!!
