Actifit and Small Homestead Plans March 13

Man, my VP is in the tank! May have to adjust the auto voter a bit, and I'd really like to buy some more steem and do another little vote buying roll. Maybe from my next side job.

Things are lining up to get some new baby chicks! I've got a co-worker that I'm gonna go in with and order ten americana/Easter eggers. They're cheaper when you buy ten of em, and I only want five.

Found a home for the rooster. I'm working on making friends with some folks in our town that have a little permaculture farm. Roo doesn't lay eggs, and he makes a lot of noise that the neighbors may not appreciate. Being as how our chickens are illegal, I'd rather not have something that'll piss off the neighborhood. His absence will make room for another hen too, which is cool.

As for the activity count: mostly from work, some from running around checking in things.

Went to the dairy today with Farmer Sam, who is on spring break. He helped me get ice in the cooler and to carry one of the five gallons of milk we got. Starting to buy in volume for cost savings, and that's for two families, as my good friend Sam and his family are drinking it too. They're actually the motivation behind d a lot of it, as they don't have a dairy nearby. Big city life.
