RE: Hikes Around Wilson's Promontory, Australia (Actifit)

Recover? I'm not wasting time with that! I was getting a little bit nervous when the wombat was getting closer and closer without stopping. I have a nice video of that which should be good fun to share at some point.

Sounds like you need to recover from your beer first lol!

what, are those little wombats dangerous? I'd kick that thing into the next county. I don't know about the wallabys though, they look like they could put a hurtin on ya but I don't know how big they are either. might have to fire off a couple shots to scare those away. I thought you loved wildlife?

I don't think they are dangerous as this one ran for thr bushes when I waved my arm to "shoo" him out the way. Wombats are kinda cute but don't give them food and you'll be alright!

Wallaby's are definitely a little more sturdy, basically a kangaroo. They have powerful hind legs that could do some damage so you want to be very careful around them. Definitely don't antagonise them and you'll be ok!

I enjoy hiking and it's cool to see wildlife. I don't actively seek out birds and animals though, these just happen to come across my path and I knew what they were.

yes sir, I imagine it's rare to see anything because you'd scare any living creature far away if they saw you coming.

It's true, I'm one scary mofo lol. At least I wouldn't shoot them like some drunken redneck though :D

lol! hey I would give them a warning shot and the next move would be up to them! How fair is that?

Haha, depends on the time gap between your warning shot and the real shot Lord Janton!

No problem sir nickyhavey, I would be very patient and wouldn't want to hurt even a fly!
