Walk to Beglik Tash from last summer - My Actifit Report Card: February 8 2019
The day was not so different like yesterday I made a morning ride with my bike then go to work and a little walk. I don't have a good photo from today so I decide to show you some from the last summer.
This is Thracian sanctuary Beglik Tash. It's located near the Black sea town Primorsko.
According to the team of archaeologists who carried out the drilling of the sanctuary, they found (ceramics, Roman coins, animal bones) - the earliest artifacts date back to VII - V century BC. in the late Bronze Age, and those from later epochs of IV - II century BC. until the 4th century AD. The sanctuary functioned for almost 2,000 years - from the 15th century BC. until the 4th century when his activity was probably ended by advancing Christianity. Due to the vast scale of the sanctuary's area, it is difficult to be dated in a unique way. It is very likely that the sacred place is a much earlier date - from the New Stone Age or the Stone-Copper Age.

Wow 😮 I’m really wowed by you landscape photos. They’re beautiful ancient locations and still exists today. I think it would be really interesting to see places like that. Also, interesting what those archaeologists found.
Nice steeping count, btw. Have a great weekend ahead okay..? 👍😀
