Rainy day today, but I reached my 5k steps goal. 😀
Walking to the bus, back and forth to my office, I always pass by this tree.
It is a Linden tree. Its bloom is so fragrant, it smells divine. 🥰
Linden tree is very popular in Europe. It grows very tall and it gives great shade. It also has great medicinal properties. The tea made from dried flowers and leaves has a great calming effect, so linden has antidepressant 'power'. Drink it before bedtime, and you will sleep like a baby. 👶
If you happen to pass by a Linden tree in blossom, be careful because bees looooove Linden flowers. I am sure you saw on grocery shelves Linden honey, didn't you?

I've never seen a linden tree, as I don't think they grow in my part of the world. But, it is lovely and the flowers are very pretty! What a delightful thing to pass every day! It is great to learn the medicinal properties, too! Thanks for sharing this info and your friend, the tree! 😊
