A change of pace today. We hosted a workshop in sumi-e painting and calligraphy, taught by a wonderful lady whose work can be found at fredericamarshall.com

Everyone present really enjoyed it and produced some great pieces, especially considering we were all beginners! It definitely stoked my interest in doing more work with the brush.

For those following the status of my extensor carpi radialis brevis tendon, I'm protecting my elbow by limiting training and working to reduce the swelling on the tendon. It feels much better, but based on how "crunchy" the tendon feels I've got a ways to go.

As our sumi-e sensei would say, "Chi!"
