Blogging on steemit can be alternative funding for charity projects

As a founder of several causes, I believe that depending on donation largely is not a sustainable solution for any projects. It can help a short run or attractive cause, but if you find something where both your supporters and your projects get benefits from it will make it long run.

Just think about blogging on social media, the best example is steemit. So you are writing about a story of your project, the progress and development of your initiatives and so on. The readers and followers of you are giving a upvote support. In return, they are gaining some curation rewards. So instead of asking a donation to fundraising platforms, it is better to post on steemit. You don't even need to ask donation but people who are curating every day may often support your project as everyone has an understanding that how they want to use their wealth.

As people have to upvote some posts every day, they might be interested to your blog than other blogs. So maintaining quality is a matter and not only the support oriented posts. The audience may look for their emotional satisfaction when reading your blog.

I have been using steemit since July 2016 and found such extraordinary support from all around the world. It doesn't mean that you are not allowed to ask donation on steemit. The platform already has adopted with a dapps called fundition.io. The dapps is a similar to other fundraising platforms but it is based on steem blockchain and truly decentralized with crypto. Hundreds of projects are raising fund through @fundition. You can check the steemit blog .

On steemit you are free to write anything you want but be sure you are using proper tags. Like if you write about charity, you need to put charity tag for good visibility to your target audience.
