Certainly I can agree with this phrase, although it is true that the more we are in love with something more effort we print to get it.
A clear example is when we fall in love with someone and is that at that time we can tell a thousand people that "that person does not suit you or that is not for you" and yet we insist until you conquer it because that (desire, love or passion) it moves us and drives us to do the impossible to achieve it.

Yes, it is true, passion can serve as a driving force to reach an objective, but it is not everything and it would be somewhat reductionist to say that only with passion can you reach your goals. Say that everything, absolutely everything depends on you, completely forgetting the other (otherness). Understanding this otherness as everything that surrounds us and interact, is that it seems to forget that people are social beings and that thanks to the dialectical relationship with that other we build each other having an impact on our lives.

So, giving relevance to the phrase of José Ortega y Gasset "I am me and my circumstances." Where denotes an individual who is not alone and that there are situations that can make you make decisions that for more love or passion you feel for that something you end up taking other paths.
Not with this I mean that the direction of our life is defined by others, but sometimes there are factors that are put into play to achieve "success".
Fight with passion, discipline and intelligence for what you want and if for some reason you see that you cannot achieve it, you can redefine strategies or objectives, and this does not mean that it is a failure, you are only looking for new opportunities and maybe later the conditions to resume and achieve that goal.

Yes, it is true, but we must remember that we are also responsible for our actions. So, if you really want something you must fight for it.
