Incredible People! Outdoor Sports Around The World (Part 1) Surf The Line - Flying Frenchies
Yesterday, I went to Banff Film Festival at Bing Crosby Theater to see short films about incredible people . Films were extremely inspiring! While I was watching I felt like I want to do some crunches at my seat spot or do some other work out. Things they can do made me feel like I’m doing something wrong with my life and that I must be involved more in sports and more adventurous life. .
I did realized just recently that the best way to travel and have the best experience in a new country or new city is to do some outdoor activities, like hiking or do something more crazy. This way your trip will be more memorable.
I will be posting 1 or 2 stories per day in one post about these incredible people and here is the first one...
It is about group of crazy and very fun French people calling themselves Flying Frenchies that want to surf and fly at the same time! They are zip lining on a surfboard at about 46 mph (75 kph) and then they BASE jump from the surfboard into the abyss that spans 2,000 feet below.
Flying Frenchies are artists, comedians, acrobats, clowns and musicians that like to do BASE-jumping, climbing, alpinism, mountaineering, and speed riding.
This is what they say about the things they do:
