Hey guys,

I'm going to be stuck on a plane for a day or so while I shimmy over to Europe for a bit. I wanted to put this out there while it's still fresh in my noggin.

Today we're talking about the concept of 'launch jacking'

So to give a super-quick idea, launch jacking is the idea of ranking for keywords relating to a product prior to it launching. The logic being that as the keywords don't technically exist as yet, it should be easier to rank for certain words.

To give an example, let's say a new product is due to come out at the end of the week called...

Super dumb, super product. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume there probably aren't products out there that are called that. If you were to release a review video, or a blog post in relation to the product, chances are you would be able to rank in the search engines for those keywords far easier than an existing product.

That way when someone sees the product being advertised, and searches the term; 'Super dumb, super product review' your review video/blog post will show up at the top page of the search engines. Cool huh!

Then, when you leave an affiliate link below your product, you can make bank! Make sense?
