A journey to making real money in internet marketing is full of pitfalls against the expectations and leads budding entrepreneurs to experience overworked and overwhelmed often.
Though technology made life easier for the entrepreneur but also competitive. An initial journey is confusing, as everyone appears to be an expert ready to help you, finally selling you their courses, tools that lead you to nowhere, draining your hard-earned resources.
Life is quite stressful for the beginners especially those new to technology and still going through a learning curve. Though many experts promise hands-on support often their support does not match the needs of the beginner.
Also working alone towards your goals or to realize your dreams drifts away from the set goals due to noise around. Getting the right mentor, staying focused, motivated in spite of unfavorable results, not losing sight of the long-term goal is a challenge.
Almost everyone that tries to do internet affiliate marketing fails to make important earnings as an affiliate. A study revealed about 96% of affiliate marketers are struggling to get good income and only the remaining 4% makes most of the income in this 6.8-billion-dollar industry.
Though the concept is great where all product development, quality assurance, supply chain, inventory, compliance with Governments regulations are handled by the companies and the affiliate marketers have to promote the sales only, still 96% marketers struggles. Where could be the gap?
After going through the above experience, I realized that a good mentor, proven strategy with a clear-cut path following right blueprint may lead to success.
The essential steps required for the newbies are:
- Adhering to the clear-cut strategy or the blueprint laid out by the mentor
- Must have the consistency of efforts keeping long-term goals in view
- Daily stay positive, not losing sight of his / her goals
- Daily listen to motivational tracks of successful people
- Cut off the noise around – be it in emails, social media or any other
