"The Weekend Wash-Up" AFL Fantasy Draft Review + Summary!

Round 18 is done and we now only have 1 more match remaining!
The last round is set to be a thriller with up to 6 teams fighting it out for the last two spots in the Top 8.
Round 18 Results:
My team’s (@dahmsy79) unbeaten run was oh so close to coming to an end at the hands of Piston-Broke (@dparkesy43).
My team squeezed home 1371 – 1348 on the back of a Pittard ton in the last game.
The loss most likely won’t hurt the Pistons as a good percentage break should mean their Top 4 spot is safe.
Farqers had the other Bounty chance this weekend against Lockout (@o07) but Lockout was not letting this one slip, winning 1449 – 1037 to lock up his Top 4 spot.
Medhurst Minions has been storming home this season and banging the Top 8 door down of late.
Well he finally got through but not without a major test from Steemit Huskies who had a Top 8 spot of their own to protect.
The Minions prevailing 1512 – 1425 in a high scoring match.
The Minions now moves into 7th spot on the ladder and has his finals destiny in his own hands.
The Huskies are now dangling in 8th spot perilously close to the chasing pack with only percentage keeping him ahead of Meow.
Both these teams will face must win matches in the last Round to keep their Top 8 spots.
I Wear Footy Pajamas is chasing his Top 4 spot back and got the job done in style with a 1364 – 1044 victory over DBLSTR.
The Pajamas remain in 5th spot, just percentage off Playing for Draft Picks in 4th.
The Cunning Stunts is Back Again kept his Finals chances alive with victory over Kulate 1228 – 1055.
A percentage booster next week and other results going his way will be needed for the Stunts to make the Finals.
Playing for Draft Picks got an important victory to keep a hold of her Top 4 spot and may of dealt a mortal blow to Lions4Life’s finals aspirations at the same time.
The Picks winning 1492 – 1411.
Lions4Life can still make the Finals but will need to win his last game and get some luck with other results.
The Mighty Fitzroy Lions held the finals door slightly ajar with a hard fought upset 1269 – 1149 victory over Little Old Lady.
The Old Lady is safe in the 8 but the defeats kills his top 4 chances.
The Mighty Lions will need a big percentage boosting victory in the last round and have other results go his way to make the 8.
The last game of the Round was an absolute thriller in what was basically an early elimination final between Mmeow and Brockies Superstars.
Mmeow just crawled over the line 1162 – 1160 to remain in 9th spot and just percentage out of the 8.
Brockies Superstars is now out of contention for finals.
So, heading into the last game of the home and away season the Top 8 looks like this:

The all so important Finals shaping fixtures for Round 19 are:
1st v 2nd match of the Round between myself (@dahmsy79) and Lockout (@o07).
Pressure is off in this one as neither of us can move up or down.
In another ripping match up 3rd placed Piston-Broke plays 7th placed Medhurst Minions with the pressure all on the Minions here.
Barring a big shift in percentage the Pistons should be safe in the Top 4 even with a loss.
The Minions however must win to ensure Finals action as a loss would surely see one of the chasing pack of teams nab his spot.
I Wear Footy Pajamas has a great chance to make up the slither of percentage needed to grab a top 4 spot with a match up against the 15th placed Farqers.
An early elimination final here with 8th placed Steemit Huskies facing a must win game to keep his spot in the Top 8.
The Huskies will face an equally desperate opponent in Cunning Stunts is Back Again who also must win to be a chance to nab one of the last two finals spots.
Lions4Life must win to be a chance of nabbing a Top 8 spot and should enjoy a stress free 4 points here against 14th placed DBLSTR.
The Lions will still need other results to go his way to make it.
The Mighty Fitzroy Lions needs a massive victory to boost his percentage if he is to be any chance of sneaking into the Finals and he might just get it here with a matchup against the bottom placed Kulate.
A 500-600 point victory with other results being friendly could make things very interesting late Sunday afternoon.
Playing for Draft Picks not only needs to win but needs to win by the same amount or better than I Wear Footy Pajamas if she is to hold her spot in the Top 4 given her percentage advantage is only a mere %0.32!
She is playing Brockies Superstars who is a team that is out of contention but by no means an easy beat.
6th placed Little Old Lady does not have a whole lot riding on this last game given his spot in the 8 is secured and Top is now out of reach.
The same can’t be said for his opponent Mmeow who sits in 9th spot and will be desperate for the 4 points to give her a chance at one of the last couple of Finals spots that are up for grabs.
