Lion and Safari #5

Today will be the last animal post before the full revue of the venue, thank you to those who followed the adventure this week I hope you enjoyed the photos. I am really starting to enjoy photography as a hobby, and I have learned so much from fellow steemians and the art of photography to capture the perfect moment, one day I would like to be able to capture art in a similar way.

Lion (Panthera leo)

Lions are considered to be the second largest of the cat species, some males can exceed 250kg (550 lb) in weight, with only the Tiger believed to be larger in size and weight it's understandable why the Lion is referred to as "The King" in the animal kingdom.
Most lions only live between 10 - 14 years in the wild, they seldom last past this age as constant fighting and hunting shave a few years off.

It is almost like the lions demand respect with their attitude, they spend more than half the day sleeping but when they are up and active, they are just splendidly majestic.
