BIRTH DEFECTS AND AN AFRICAN MAN'S PERCEPTION

A typical African will conclude and call babies like that monster. They either eliminate the baby instantly or they throw them into the evil Forest.
The mother is called a witch and she stands the chance of getting severe punishment from the community.

She's very lucky if it's punishment, the unlucky ones get banished from the their land forever.
Either way has-been dreadful

I really don't know how to make you understand perfectly how terrible this tradition is.
But!!
Just remember the killing of twins so many years ago.
The twins who lost their lives then were genetically normal, with no deformity or disease

Now!!!!
Imagine what they will do to the ones they called monster.

Before i continue,
I will like the whole twins in Africa to follow me and thank the Scottish missionary MARRY MITCHELL SLESSOR for saving their lives

Our gratitude is extended also to all European and American missionary who visited Africa.

Dear Africa this child above is no monster.
The baby being like that could be as a result of
-genetic disorder such as genodermatoses
-lifestyle choices and behavior of the mother
-exposure to certain medications and chemicals,
-inadequate prenatal care, untreated viral or bacteria infection which includes sexually transmitted infections

The above reasons results to these :
Heart defect
Cleft lip
Clubfoot
Down syndrome
Cystic fibrosis
Triploidy
Spina bifida etc

The wrong perception has to stop
