The unique bees phenomenon that occurs in Africa

in #africa6 years ago

Hey Stemians.

Bees are a large group of insects known for their clustered life although not all bees are. All bees belong to the tribe or familia Apidae (order Hymenoptera: insect winged membrane). In the world there are about 20,000 species of bees and can be found on every continent, except Antarctica.

As an insect, he has three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings. Bees make a nest on the hill, on the tree and on the roof of the house.

Uniquely, there is an unusual occurrence, there is a group of insects make a nest in the wheels of the car.

This incident I found in the steemit account that I follow, namely @gavvet that comes from Africa.

Through his blog he told me about the beginning of the incident, he said "I parked on the lands to do some work and after driving off noticed a lot of bees displaying a lot of interest in my car. I drove back to the house only to discover this."

@gavvet also says "They didn't seem too perturbed by the drive but that's only because its winter and its cold enough that they can barely move. In fact they are all huddled together like this not only to protect the queen but also to keep warm."

He uploaded this incident to his steemit blog homepage since three days ago from the moment I publish it.

He also wrote that African bees are more dangerous than other countries' bees.So not something you want to be messing with. The media in the US likes to call them "African Killer bees" because they are not used to the defense mechanism of our bees in Africa.

The steemians who read this incident, immediately stormed to reply to comments, there are steemians who are afraid, some also consider a funny incident

@d-pend Yikes, that's scary! It's funny, I think many places have this saying "Only in _____" to celebrate or lament the peculiarities of our respective locales.

Perhaps we are soft here in America that we have to call them "killer." The thought of being stung 10+ times by a swarm is a terrible one!

I can't believe these bees can actually survive on the inside of your tire, lol.

@donkeypong Bees pick the most interesting places to swarm, don't they? You could scoot them into an empty hive, but it might be safer to let them dissipate on their own. Speaking of insects and cars, we had a grasshopper hitch a ride on the outside of our windshield last week, which made it for almost 40 miles before jumping off near a creek; it chose one of the best spots on the trip to relocate.

@visionfractal OOOOOHHH NOoooo!! Thats a big trouble...

………and many more. Which I might not mention all of them.

That's how the unique bees that make a nest in the wheels of cars owned @gavvet from Africa.
