This is actually helping data businesses a lot! They can now keep the data they have collected in their preferred secure environment and bring Watson to that environment for machine learning and analysis.
Businesses used to have to upload their data to IBM cloud services in order to use Watson.
So the bigger the data set, the more intelligence and insights can be extracted? Big data must be very lucrative.
Extremely! This is why Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc. are all investing huge money into data collection projects, but the users are not getting a dime from their data. Thank God for blockchain and dApps that can change this around a bit.
Data is the new oil.
It is a brave new world out there.
