We just started preparing the onions. 10 tons are digged drying at the sun. We have other 20 left to be digged. I guess it will take us like 10 days more to dig it and other 10 days to prepare it in bags.

Meanwhile, the onions are getting dry.

Yes, I know, it looks bad, but after cutting the stem it looks like gold.

These will be sold in Romania for an average price of $0.8/kilo.

What do you think? It's worth the effort?

Sort:

Yes, it is. It's a lot of work but we all need for our food to taste better.

You'll sell all of them in the market? I think there would need to be more of a kinda wholesale way of selling them

Wow, here is a lot of tears in the future ...

That's a lot of onions finally all the work has been done

It seems like that the price of per kg of onion is almost same like my country. I think this type of work is worthy.

I love posts like this. For one, I love gardening. I also grew up pulling weeds on my grandma's farm and have lived around farming communities most of my life. There is something wholesome about hard work that creates something healthy and edible.

I like learning as well. The pictures are great.

One last comment. If you are from Romania, I visited 2 times to Sibiu. My customer had a manufacturing plant their. I must say one thing you could not miss, the women were absolutely beautiful!
