#AIR-CLINIC: Subsidizing Quality Healthcare With Blockchain!

Healthcare is expensive! We all probably know that. Even though it cannot be afforded by most of the population, its still much needed by them. Hence there's a heavy demand for a relatively scarce resource.
The ratio of health workers to patients is always low and underwhelming. It means that there are few workers to pay however it also means that there are so many people to treat.
This is where the divide between the poor and the rich usually becomes much more glaring. The rich can afford private hospitals where they pay high amounts and get comparably good healthcare services.
The middle class and poor on the other hand can't afford these luxuries. Many of them are in the vicious cycle of poverty, ignorance and disease. Hence they die from minor ailments due to the fear of spending money.
Inadvertently, they visit herbalists, religious houses, chemists and drink all kinds of crude concotions just in a bid to pay lower for a valuable service. Mostly, they are either harmed or given placebo which just treats their psychology while the illness progresses further within.
How Then Do We Tackle This?
Simple answer, BLOCKCHAIN!
The blockchain is closely associated with cryptocurrencies and crowdfunding. This is a fairly new technology but we have seen how powerfully its changing the entire world. All sectors are being affected even areas you never could imagine would be on the internet.
The truth is that there is available resources to fund healthcare but the underlying problem is the fact that the resources are in the wrong hands. Hence blockchain can lead to redistribution of money from those who need it immediately to those who need don't need it immediately.
Its a simple hack that can save lives. Imagine health insurance being offered on the blockchain. Imagine a situation where anyone who is part of the system can easily access healthcare when the chips are down.
Everyone everywhere can have the opportunity to access quality healthcare providers at a subsidized rate via the blockchain. Internet also permits collaboration amongst healthworkers and clients. Hence this new method has no boundaries.

I think blockchain will be very helpfull for those countries where the medical service is expensive enough and also the countries with problems in economic politics, the result could be an option for families with a low budget, excelente post @air-clinic

After going through the air-clinic discord channel... I must commend the effort of the team for informing us all about issues pertaining to our health. Information is power, hence, must be provided to breach the gap between health workers and society. Many have gone south even as educated as they are just because they weren't properly informed on health related issues.
