WHAT ARE THE CLASSES OF FOOD CALLED VITAMIN?

Vitamins are organic molecules need by the body in small quantities.

or we say exact quantity, because excessiveness and deficiency of the molecules count on our health.

All our basic activities rely on vitamins consumed.

Deficiency of each of these in our body may lead to various diseases.

There are two types of vitamins;

  • water soluble
  • fat soluble

Water soluble vitamins
They include the groups of vitamins that are soluble in aqueous solutiions

The vitamins under this categories are not stored in the body, meaning they must be provided by daily consumption.

Most water soluble vitamins are really needed for energy biosynthensis

  • vitamin C

  • Folic acid

Fat soluble vitamins
They include all vitamins soluble in adipose in the body,
