7-Day Music Challenge: Your Top Albums - #4 Abbey Road (1969)

in #albumchallenge6 years ago
Hi Steemians, this is my fourth entry of the 7-Day Music Challenge: Your Top Albums. In this opportunity I will share with you one of the most influential albums in the history of music made by the most successful band of all time The Beatles.

Abbey Road was the eleventh album made by the British band The Beatles published on September 26, 1969 in the United Kingdom. It is considered one of the finest and best works of the group entering the list of the best 15 albums of the history made by the Rolling Stone magazine, in addition in one of the 6 albums of the band certified with diamond disk (more than 10 million of copies sold). The cover of the album became one of the most famous in the history of music, in which the Beatles is shown passing through the pedestrian crossing at Grove End Road with Abbey Road, in front of the studios where they were recorded almost Every of their songs.

This is my favorite album of The Beatles because in addition to its impressive sound and recording, it is the album where each of the members showed all their skills and abilities. The genius of John with his immortal "Come Together", his rhythmic guitar and its variability in his songs going from his calm and mysterious "Because" to the powerful "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"; George with his exquisite guitar riffs and presenting 2 of the best songs ever composed "Something" and "Here Comes The Sun"; Paul with his impressive bass and vocal quality in "Oh! Darling", "Golden Slumbers" and "The End"; and Ringo with his extraordinary drum accompaniment throughout the album and culminating with a solo in "The End".
