As the kiddies head back to school, Hollywood decides to dump its worst slate of new releases in recent memory into theaters. The Nun (she's evil, so spooky!), Peppermint (she's out for revenge, so thrilling!), and God Bless the Broken Road (she grieves her fallen soldier-husband to a soundtrack of country music, so inspiring!); none of them have gained anything but heaping piles of scorn from critics. Well, Mission: Impossible is still in theaters, or it might be a good weekend to stay in and catch up on your Netflix queue.
