RE: Do Christians Need to Know About Aliens?

in #aliens6 years ago

nowhere in the bible does it say aliens exist, or any other places to live like earth.

in fact, in genesis 1, God says He brought the earth forth on day three, and then the sun, moon and stars were created on day four, all on the same day, to give light upon the earth.

this tells us the cosmology we have been led to believe in modern times is nothing like the heavens and earth God actually created - the two are mutually exclusive, and you cannot believe both.

I agree, the cosmologies are different. I'm wondering how you personally reconcile ancient texts like the Bible with current discoveries we've made with modern technology?
It's a hard issue for many of us who grew up with sacred texts as our compass, for sure.

Just to give you a friendly nudge for thought: neither does the Bible say polar bears exist, but that doesn't mean humans didn't eventually record them in their writings later on.

All I'm saying is that humans have now seen, interviewed, dissected, and communicated with beings that don't call Earth home. That wasn't true in Bible times.

Thanks for the comment!

those are fair points. which modern technology though?
you don't mean this do you? ;-)

Well, "modern technology" is a rabbithole I'm not sure you really are asking me to go down...suffice to say, the masses' knowledge of what advances are being used is different than the reality of what the elite/Luciferian illegitimate rulers are using.
What I'm referring to in my reply above is the microscope, the telescope, physical and medical studies, etc etc. which bring additional understanding to the worldview found in the Bible.
What I'm referring to in this comment is torus energy, anti-gravity technology, human cloning, plasma, science of consciousness, teleportation, geo-engineering, nano bots, etc, etc.
