The summer star glistened over the waters, screening shades of yellow and orange, as the wondrous haze tinted the eased ocean gold. The quiet splashes of water as they gently washed over the rocks, adorning crabs among other smaller creatures, this pause in time continued longingly, as the sun began to rise high into the sky.

It was a calm day on the mainland, the lone survivor began to drag more logs to his retreat, among the wreckage of planes and boats is where he had made residence scratches in one side of the hull, lines with large strikes through them, must of been twenty sets, thirty almost, so many days, too many. The survivor began to use a rock, as he dug it deep into the metal, starting a new tally, a quiet undertone to himself, as if too nervous to speak aloud "One hundred and fifty one days." he was patient, so patient, too patient. He resented this trait, with a passion almost. Tiredly he'd begin to head back to the beach trees, using an axe made from the scraps of the wrecks that adorned the beach sides, as the lurching tree began to collapse to the ground, displacing the white snowy grains that glistened the rim of the island, a pyre was being built, a signal, a flare to the sky, to the world, to everyone, he had enough, he wanted off that accursed island that he made home reluctantly, away from the shredded carcasses of ships and planes, away, he wanted to get away.

And his wishes were heard.

As the stack of smoke raised high, a blaring musical which can only be identified as a horn shook the ground near him, what next arose was that of eldritch qualities, a massive craft arose from the depths out in the sea, the sky grew colder and gray, the hazardous glow of purple spat out from the cracks in the craft's hull, as massive engines spat some sort of blue flame, as it began to enclose towards the survivor

"Where...Where was that." he said to himself, he wasn't scared, he was happy, happy that finally, something acknowledges him, after so many days of isolation, and as he ascended in a hallowed beam into the abyss, he did so with a smile on his face
