Altcoin Project Updates: Litecoin (LTC), Cardano (ADA), and TRON (TRX)
Cryptocurrency market isn’t doing so well today, and it isn’t looking good for Litecoin, Cardano, and Tron although the projects are all showing progress, and here’s how.
Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin may be low for now, but it has retaken its place as the sixth largest crypto coin, above Cardano which is a positive. Litecoin’s market cap is currently about $9.2 billion.
For a while now, Litecoin has been trying to show off its popularity with twitter users with the hashtag #PayWithLitecoin.
I think it’s a smart marketing strategy to get the community interested and involved.

Litecoin is currently trading for $162.33, meaning the coin went down 3.21% in the past 24 hours.
Cardano (ADA)
While Cardano has been down for today, the altcoin has made impressive progress in the last month, gaining 119.20% over the past four weeks.
While not currently reflected in ADA’s price, Cardano is making advancements in its project. Not long, Charles Hoskinson agreed to a deal to put Ethiopia’s agri-tech sector onto the Cardano blockchain.
The Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Technology and Hoskinson signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to initiate this. I guess Ethiopia will be interested in ways to apply the blockchain to track coffee throughout the supply chain and for land registration to try to reduce fraud.

Currently, ADA is trading at $0.340343 a coin, down -2.06% in the last 24 hours.
TRON (TRX)
TRON’s main net opening is almost soon, and with that, the election of Super Representatives – essentially, Tron holders that will represent what the TRX community wants to the TRON Foundation.
What Many TRX users want is something called a coin burn for TRX. A coin burn lowers the volume of a coin released, thereby making that coin have more value (due to fewer coins in circulation – low amount of coins will result into greater demand, which will increase price). Most TRX users are hoping that the Super Representative Election will bring about a TRX coin burn.
