Round For Round

This story-song is a throw back to my dog-eat-dog days in the combative corporate world where I was forced to go "Round For Round" in order to move up the ladder. I likened the daily battles with hotheaded opponents to using a little rope-a-dope in the boxing ring (credit Muhammad Ali). Managing a few upper cuts to get under their skin I'd roll with the punches, bob and weave, and go for a KO as I made my way up the ladder. Songs chorus: “Goes round comes round fall down—Take on another round—Get up go round for round—Leap up and turn around”. In the end I survived for better days (songwriting and producing).
