The Supreme Court just made online shopping more expensive for consumers, and Amazon could dodge a bullet
This week, the Supreme Court ruled states can now force all online retailers to collect sales tax from consumers.
Interesting article, funny how Amazon has been saying for years that they should pay the sales tax, of course they have the software to calculate what to pay so it's easy for them. The small online business is going to have to use a service, like Amazon, to be able to calculate all the different taxes. More revenue for Amazon, funny how that works....
