With the massive growth on steemit, everyday hundreds of new accounts are opened here on the blockchain, some investors others newbies trying to make a living from the community. Most of them barely know how steemit works or how to even start. This is why am applying for the post of a steem ambassador, with my little knowledge and experience I'll be able to teach as much new comers as possible (although those who truly wants to learn) in words and a little support.

My story so far

Ever since i joined steemit, January to be precise, it's been a bumpy ride. Striving to know more and learn more about the blockchain isn't a day task. I decided to aboard more and more users to the platform, by going out with the team and distributing flyers and preaching steemit to them. Although it was'nt easy but with time it became a lifestyle. Presently were planning on another outreach with the team, the reason behind the slow process was due to the low price of steem to accurately get the right funds to start, but at the moment were ready to begin with all the funds and support we've been getting from sponsors.

Why promote steemit?

The steem blockchain it's known for it's uniqueness. Thinking with the mind and putting them down in writing is something the world should know about. There are lot's of hidden talents out there that need's to be discovered, people are still living in the dark and they need to encounter light. I think steemit is the light that needs to be flashed were darkness is.

Without nobody to foster and teach the new comers, they'll probably just do whatever they like here on the blockchain and this will d-value the community thereby increasing the number of spammers.

This was our first outreach at the University of science and technology.
