Calosa Foundation is a foundation that showcases contemporary art with a program of discussions, workshops, residencies and so on. It is based in Irapuato, Mexico. The foundation seeks to encourage the production and dissemination of art to and from the Bajio area in Mexico. It also holds a library for itself. It basically brings out the world of art to the viewers beyond Mexico City. It is a foundation that brings Iraputenese spectator closer to art. Such places were much required by the locals as well as to showcase the art form to the tourists.

Paulina Ascencio is the curatorial director of Calosa Foundation. The inauguration of this foundation, as stated was done for a solid, purposeful future. The founders were applauded for the same vision they wanted to bring in. It is located near the four-way center. The visiting hours for this gallery is 11 am – 7 pm.

The gallery is an excellent place for visitors to take a moment and enjoy the contemporary form of art. All the descriptive are exquisitely explained by the staffs as well as by the owners. It has a very active end towards the public. Many competitions, interactive sessions, exhibitions are regularly held which attracts the tourists.
