Ferry ride through NYC

I don’t know if you ever visited NYC, but if you didn’t know it is a city that never sleeps and you have so many attractions that you literally can’t decide what will be your first stop.
But don’t worry, I will tell you a couple of things that you need to know.
First, you will have a lot of fun, second it is really crowded and third you will never forget the amazing things that this city has to offer.
Starting from the second most wanted thing in NYC. Don’t forget your camera or your phone, you will want to take some pictures.
Also, if you love water, you will have the best time in your life.

I am talking about Staten Island Ferry!
So basically it is a passenger ferry route, and it is operated by the New York City Department of Transportation.
The ferry goes 5.2 miles/8.4km through New York Harbor between the New York City borough of Manhattan and Staten Island.
Precisely, it goes back and forth from the Whitehall Terminal, which is the tip of Manhattan, to the St. George Terminal on Staten Island.
It is a fun ride of 25 minutes, and it is a free ride! So please be careful about this, some people will try to sell you tickets,
especially when they see that you are a tourist. Be cautious! If you are wondering about catching the ferry, don't worry, the schedule is very easy to remember,
the ferries run every 30 minutes – on the hour and on the half-hour. For example: 09:00, 09:30.
But thought-out the “rush hours” from 06:00 am to 09:30 am and from 03:00pm to 08:00 pm, the ferries go every 15 minutes.

If you want to enjoy the ride, relax, or you just don’t like a crowded ferry, you should take your ride between 09:30 am to 11:30 am or after 07:00 pm, it is less crowded. Don’t worry, the ferries can carry over 6,000 passengers. There is no need to be afraid or worry about anything, the ferries are safe.
Just enjoy the ride and the view, also take pictures! Panorama is amazing!

A couple of facts before taking the ride, there is a free Wi-Fi service on each terminal and ferries, smoking isn’t allowed, there are bathrooms on the ferry, you can buy snacks and drinks on the ferry, and if you have a bike, bikes are permitted on the ferry.
