Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 14: Dark times almost broke me
Here is the latest vlog in my series chronicling my attempts at quasi van nomadism. I hit a bit of a rough patch since the last vlog. My lifeline was gifted a week long trip for her and my kids, and i did not take the news ery well. Things got pretty dark earlier today, but an amazing friend helped talked me down and gave me the perspective that I was so sorely needed.
So Murder Dog and I will truly be on our own for the next week plus, but we will try to make the best of it. I have some things to take care of around here and a little work for an old client this weekend, but my copilot and I will hopefully be headed upstate come Sunday morning. I have a friend up there with some huuuuuuuuuge tracts o' land (bonus points for those who get the reference) who has offered up his property for us to stay on for a bit. It will be nice to have a completely different change of scenery, hopefully keep my mind off how much I'm missing the wife and kids, and get to spend some time with a friend who has been there for me with a number of big assists through my troubles with the State.
Despite the horrors of earlier in the day, I'm in a much better place now. We'll just have to make tomorrow a better one. Stay tuned!

Do you have a smartphone for taking video? I'll start posting comments here finally instead of on You Tube. For some reason the Dtube doesn't stream as well as You Tube. Not sure why? I use Mozilla for my laptop browser. I'll see if Chrome works better. Right now I'm only posting on Dtube myself. Check Amazon for a folding foam bed. They have a big selection and they fold up to one third the size. Don't forget to show Murder Dog. Put her in one of the snaps on DTube. Bet your video will get more attention that way. Everyone loves a dog's mug especially a Pit. Loved the Catskills when I was in New York in the fall of 2014. That was my first time out east. The fall colors were outstanding! There is an area I'd also like to check out for hiking called "The Gunks." Ever heard of that place? It is near the Mohonk Preserve and the Minnewaska State Park near Accord, NY. A guy I met in a campground told me about this place. Love to do a show with you. Figured we could talk when I see you at the MPL Fest.
Yes, I do have a smartphone. I will try to take some video with that, as well. The only issue with the phone is that the files end up being pretty big (despite me trying to alter the settings, so I need to run it through my video editor first to make the upload more feasible (given my limited access to the internet).
I will keep posting the videos to YouTube, too, because I know there are some issues with DTube for some folks. I think it has to do with the internet connection. I have more issues using wifi with DTube (and Dsound) than I do when I'm hardwired. I'm just putting them up on DTube first because YouTube demonetized our channel, so I at least have a chance to make a lil something something through Steemit.
