Achieving Anarchism, The “Power Vacuum” Theory And The Myth Of The Two Sided Revolution

in #anarchy6 years ago (edited)

In this video I discuss some of the popular arguments that people put forward about anarchism, such as the idea that a power vacuum is an inevitable thing. I also consider the idea the history has oversimplified the idea of revolution, ignoring the fact that there are often many different forces fighting over the throne. Ultimately, it is our belief in power and authority that keeps this cycle of violence going.

I like how you say that we shouldn't take either side in most cases as there are other options available. The problem I've come to face with this is that many a times people would call me as someone who's sitting on the fence - and I absolutely hate this sheepish generalization, where one believes that you MUST take a side. F that. Sometimes doing nothing is doing the most, as Lao Tzu put it. That's not to say that one is indifferent to some of the problems that exist today in our communities, but I do believe that THINKING and coming up with actual solutions to problems , in tandem with others, is better than approaching things like a videogame ie select your player and the choice is final. Great talk, man.

Every year technology get higher and people around the world became smarter. The people who has power like a bad president will never stay longer in power, if we are all together, we can make a better world. Nawadays,People want to fight for the right. Thanks for sharing this with us my dear friend @johnvibes. Have a nice weekend. Greeting from @chanthasam

Couldn't agree more!
There is a too strong belief that it's going to be Mad Max or The Road if we don't choose some form of oppression.
