Great work here @kafkanarchy84 I'm really glad you mentioned the fact the Japanese were attempting to surrender .. from my own research that is very true and equally so often missed! The U.S just wanted the opportunity to use their new toy and see how much damage it would inflict. One things for sure, we won't hange a thing by playing them at their own game .. indeed they've had a long time to own and control every opposing view/party. Excellent post!
