I want to signal boost this organization for many reasons and the struggles it has had to endure with municipal governments.
The video covers the efforts and controversy over Elvis Summer's organization that is attempting to solve the shortage of affordable housing for nearly 13,000 people.
This story is important because it provides an example of municipal governments fighting against progress just to make themselves appear necessary. Also, this organization provides an excellent example of what a successful community serving organization looks like.
I want the idea of affordable housing to spread so it can be studied by people much smarter than me and improved upon.

So beautiful when people care about the ones who don't have been through hard moments and don't have the privilege to have a warm bed to sleep everynight.
